Meet Mercy

My name is Mercy and I come from a Christian family of 5 girls (Peace, Hope, Immaculate, Easter, Coral) and 3 boys (Chris, Patience, and Derick). Growing up, my family and I would attend church every Sunday, and Dad was a strong pillar in our faith. Unfortunately, my life changed when I turned 13 and my dad passed away. My siblings and I went our separate ways, and for a long time, I struggled with my relationship with Jesus. I felt lonely and isolated, but eventually, God answered my prayers and led me to Legacy Footfalls.

To me, Legacy Footfalls is all about community. I consider the team to be like family, and my faith has grown tremendously because of the devotions at the Mission House. I now feel challenged to continue growing in my faith, and I claim it as my own.

Currently, I serve as a young evangelist on the Legacy Footfalls team. I have been on 4 mission trips in Yumbe and have spoken to 942 children about Jesus. Out of those, My dream is to attend Makerere University and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Enterprenurship. With this knowledge, I hope to support the micro start up wing for Legacy Footfalls and enble young evangelists innovate solutions to social problem and make icome to meet their needs.

If you could, please keep me in your prayers as I apply for acceptance into Makerere University. Thank you.

Together we raise missionaries among unreached children and youth
